What does it take to excel as an official?
This program addresses something every coach and administrator understands: the hardest moments in a game are not always about knowing the rule. They are about managing pressure.
It must be trained.
Officials must be able to make a difficult call, absorb the reaction, communicate clearly, stay composed, and administer the next possession with the same standard. They must be able to recover from controversy, stay connected to their crew, manage coach interaction, and maintain decision-making clarity when the game is moving quickly and the stakes are high. That does not happen by accident. It must be trained.
